RAAB recommends 'no' to sponsoring Dancing in the Streets with redevelopment funds
At its latest meeting on July 13, The Redevelopment Agency Advisory Board unanimously found that the Dancing in the Streets Sponsorship Program does not meet the requirements of NRS 279 - the state law that governs what a redevelopment agency is actually allowed to spend tax-increment money on, nor does it meet the requirements for the redevelopment agency's own District Activation Pilot program.
