West Street Plaza hosts summer activities downtown

A list of upcoming events and activities at West Street Plaza, at the terminus of West Street at 1st Street in downtown Reno. 

Siegel Group On Deck at City Council Meeting

Siegel Group will be asking for a lease of a small portion of West Street Plaza so they can change the elevation of it and open up the east side of the building that's currently unaccessible.

New Venues Headed to 1st and West

A couple of quick announcements:

1)      The old Beaujolais location 130 West Street has been rented out to a new business called “Crafted Palette”. This will be a high-end specialty coffee shop with light breakfasts’ in addition to a paint and sip venue in the late afternoon and evenings. Like them on Facebook here.

2)      123 W. First Street (Old Bugsy’s Bar Location); one side has been leased  to a business called “Derby Supply Company”.  This will be a 1930’s style barbershop. They are offering cocktails while one might be getting a true straight razor shave and haircut. Look for build-out to begin late Spring, early Summer.

Siegel Group Proposes to Enhance West Street Plaza, Fulton Park

As part of their redevelopment efforts for the Truckee Lane Building, located on First Street in downtown Reno, Siegel Group will be asking the council to acquire West Street Plaza and Fulton Park to improve them and make them more cohesive with their redevelopment plans for the building.

Pies with a Purpose Fundraiser

Pies with a Purpose is a culinary showcase in support of The Eddy House, where Downtown Reno's top chefs, including Larry Dunning of Bowl, Joseph Bell of Wild River Grille, as well as chefs from Noble Pie Parlor, The Jungle, Brewer's Cabinet, Jax on the Tracks, Homage Bakery and more come together to support the Eddy House.
