Cottage Row at Midtown Breaks Ground
Cottage Row at Midtown has broken ground on both sides of Redfield Mansion on Mt. Rose Street near Arlington Avenue.

Center Street Reconfiguration Meeting
The City of Reno is proposing to reduce Center Street from two lanes, to one lane, between Virginia Street and Taylor Street, to expand available parking. The City of Reno is soliciting comments from the Midtown businesses in regards to this proposed change.
A meeting will be held at City Hall 7th Floor Caucus Room, Wednesday, August 6th, 5:00 PM.

Marmots Close on 567 Holcomb, Plan Renovations
The Marmots have closed on 567 Holcomb, or as I affectionally coin it, 'Pepto on Holcomb.' They will soon be releasing renovation plans!
Apparently, these are pretty cool apartments on the inside, even though the outside looks like someone puked up a combination of Pepto-Bismal and kidney stones.
23 Jul 2014Midtown: Drive-Thru or No Drive-Thru?
Being pushed through Reno Planning and City Council is a request for an alley abandonment for Pueblo Avenue surrounding the redevelopment project for Heritage Bank. This will allow for at least one drive through, possiby two, for this project, in a district designated as pedestrian-oriented development.
The Midtown Merc's are being awfully quiet about this, leading me to wonder if they are aware of it, or simply don't care/not on their radar.

Not long after plans were released for the building that formerly housed Maytan Music Center, another medium-size proejct was announced today for the Heritage Bank Building, located at 1401 South Virginia Street.
