The Bridge opens soon, puts in real windows

by Mike Van Houten / Oct 10, 2014

Yay! Those hideous glass blocks left over when the 1980s puked all over the facade of the BofA Building downtown are now gone! And in place, real windows. This should help with the ambience of the soon-to-open Bridge restaurant and bar at 425 South Virginia Street.

UPDATE: Here's a before-shot prior to the facade facelift, at the request of a reader:

    A before-shot would be nice.

Too bad they didn't replace the door/entry way. Funky domed thing over it looks bad. If they were going to update it I wish they'd update the whole front facade. Another failed business at this location coming? I hope not but it still looks poor from the outside IMHO.

    Thanks for the update!

Doesn't look like much of an upgrade over the existing facade. It still has that cheesy, greasy, 80's diner feel to it. most likely another failed venture

Went to the soft opening last night. Place looks great inside and the food was amazing. No surprise, as the Chef used to be at 775 Gastropub and they had the best food in town. This place is going do really well with their local ingredients and Chefs ability to create amazing dishes.
