Demo Permit in Review for Stardust Lodge on Arlington Ave

A demo permit is in review for the Stardust Lodge, located at 455 Arlington Avenue.

The permit reads:

STARDUST LODGE
DEMOLITION. DEMOLITION OF EXISTING 22 UNIT MOTEL. SWIMMING POOL WILL ALSO BE REMOVED AND FILLED WITH NECESSARY BACKFILL FOR FUTURE CONSTRUCTION.

The odd thing is that I count way more than 22 units in this complex, so maybe just the building with the pool connected to it is being demolished for now.

Either way, something will soon be demolished on this property!

Yeah! Quit making those homeless people hide in motel rooms! I wanna see them at the river with everyone else. I'm glad you're posting some again Mike, I've been itching for an outlet fot my C.A.V.E. thoughts.

What is going to replace the building? Maybe west 2nd street can add a 100 story tower on the property? Of course they would need a sky-bridge or monorail to connect to the other towers.
