Check out Plans for Sizzle Pie And The Black Crystal Downtown

by Mike Van Houten / Sep 25, 2017

Sizzle Pie and the Black Crystal. What sounds like the name of David Lynch's next project is actually a new pizza place and bar going in at 190 South Center Street

While it's not exactly a secret that Sizzle Pie is going in, did you know a bar will be attached to it called 'The Black Crystal?'

And did you know Sizzle Pie plans on being a late-night dining establishment, and have a rooftop deck? Well now you do!

Sizzle Pie had to file a special use permit, I think for the rooftop dining and/or the hours of operation.

Combined with See See and the new completed Pine + Center which now has residents (and from what I hear, is filling up quickly, this downtown street on the edge of downtown will finally see some life.

As an added bonus, all the residential units surrounding this project on Pine and on State Street next to Patagonia, have been renovated or wil soon be renovated.

Check out some photos below of how the neighborhood has changed!

So half the lot is staying unbuilt in order to preserve 3 parking spaces and a trash enclosure?

It's Reno; we must have PARKING!!! No matter how small, insufficient or wholly unnecessary.

I wish they go two story on the plan. It is such a prime spot to have a single story and parking lot

Any news on this? There's not construction activity at all at the site.
