Upcoming Unique Events in the Biggest Little City

Thinking outside the box a bit, the Biggest Little City has some unique events coming up that you don't want to miss, starting with this tomorrow. I certainly won't be missing these!

New Project in Northwest Reno

Ok well it's not downtown or in MidTown but it's large enough to report on regardless. As you know I occasionally spotlight new developments outside of the Reno core (such as Legends or Summit Sierra Mall.) This sounds like a pretty cool project.

New Murals in Midtown Showcase Art

Marmot Properties recently commissioned artist Eric Burke to paint a mural on their garage doors facing the alley between Sinclair and Center Streets. It's the latest of many murals painted by Burke in Midtown. This one is titled "Flight of the Bumblebee."

I'm a huge fan or murals as a visual way to enhance the neighborhood, and it also deters graffiti.

Great Basin Food CoOp Holiday Faire

Great Basin Food Co-Op will be having a holiday arts, craft and food faire this weekend Saturday the 14th from 2 to 6 pm at 240 Court Street.

Local Crafts and Art This Saturday

Go For Broke Collective and the Holland Project have partnered for a 4th year to put on  their favorite holiday market. In addition to the 25 local art+craft vendors, there will be a special Holland Editions Print Sale in the gallery.
