Crest Motel in Downtown Reno to be Renovated and Not Demolished

The Crest Inn at 525 West 4th Street will be renovated and not demolished. That's a first in an area where most of the weekly motels have been demolished for a mixed-use project by Jacobs Entertainment. 

Here's the permit. 

It reads:

REMODEL. 46 ROOM MOTEL. REMOVE & REPLACE EXISTING WINDOWS, REPLACE EXISTING LIGHT & PLUMBING FIXTURES (NO RELOCATION). NO MECHANICAL. NEW PAINT & FLOORING. NO STRUCTURAL.
