Jacobs Entertainment has submitted building permits for Renova Flats, at 525 West 4th Street.
Previously announced on our Facebook page, Renova Flats will be a remodel of the Crest Inn, currently a weekly motel.

CHANGE OF USE. MOTEL TO MONTHLY RENTAL UNITS. REMODEL FORMER MANAGER'S UNIT INTO A COMMUNITY KITCHEN AND UPPER LEVEL UNIT. REMODEL KITCHEN, BATH AND LIVING SPACES. INCLUDES REPLACING WINDOWS,EXTERIOR DOORS AND REPLACE RAILINGS AT ROOF DECK.- ALL NEW ELEC AND MECH. NEW FACADE AND DEMO POOL TO CREATE OUTDOOR PATIO WHICH INCLUDES LANDSCAPING.
Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. is converting the 46-room Crest Inn Motel and neighboring West 4th St. mini-mart and gas station into urban residences dubbed Renova Flats.
The first phase of the $11 million project, Renova Flats, includes 46 newly renovated units. The second phase will include an additional 10 units. The units will include substantial cosmetic updates, improved landscaping, community kitchen and lounge. The flats are slated to be rent-ready by early spring. Crest Inn was sold by a entity called EAKPRAB, LLC which was member managed by NARINDER K SEKHON. I only wish Narinder was forced to live at the Crest instead of his nice house on Roxbury Dr.
