Permit for mass grading, foundation and parking garage for the new Court Street Kimpton

For those that thought proposed brand-new 20-story Kimpton brand hotel on Court Street next to Park Tower was vaporware, think again! 

A permit has been accepted for the mass grading required to level out the lot, under-slab utilites and the foundation itself along with the parking garage and hotel base structure, going up to the Court Street Level. Exciting stuff! 

The permit reads: 

 COMMERCIAL NEW CONSTRUCTION. MASS GRADING, EXCAVATION, FOUNDATION, UNDER-SLAB UTILITIES, GARAGE STRUCTURE AND HOTEL STRUCTURE (SHELL ONLY) UP TO COURT STREET LEVEL.

    Will the parking garage be where the construction employees will park during the tower build? Anything on where the staging for this project will be located?
