Here Are the Tenants for 1401 South Virginia Project

by Mike Van Houten / Nov 20, 2015

1401 South Virginia used to be Heritage Bank. The building is being re-purposed as a mixed-use development with both retail and apartments.

The project is now in the permitting phase, and you should see construction fencing going up around the property any day now. The existing 9000 SF building will be renovated, and joined by a new 12,000 SF addition.

The tenants:

Bristlecone Holdings - New Midtown headquarters for this high tech company that has new algorithms for calculating a loan risk, waaay beyond FICO scores. They are finding people with low FICO scores can actually be low-risk loan recipients based on this data, and their firm is really taking off.

Morgan's Lobster Shack - Lobster! This Truckee restaurant and seafood shack has four star ratings across Yelp, Trip Advisor, Google, and Zomato.

SDL Jewelry - This will be the largest independent jewelry store in Reno, at over 5,000 square feet.

There used to be a lobster shack where Eclipse is now, and it failed miserably. I don't if it was location, price, bad timing or what happened? I'm excited for another to give it a go. Wish them nothing but good vibes and success.

Someone can't spell.....check your work before you put it out there

That's funny Hali, I proof-read it and spell checked it before publishing. Perhaps you can point the typo out to me instead of writing generic comments? Also, there's a difference between a typo and a misspelled word.

Funny, I only see 3 words that could be caught by a spell-checker. 2 of them are proper nouns, and the third is "waaay". :P
