A new brewery is headed to 1041 South Virginia Street in the heart of midtown.
Wonder Ale Brewery is setting up shop at Under the Rose's old locale, next to Rum Sugar Lime and Pizzava, sources tell me.
I'm hearing some impressive names are behind the brewery, including Nick Fishcella, a bar pioneer who opened Banger Brewing on Fremont Street, among many other locales around the world. Some of the other venues he's consulted and worked with include Olives - Bellagio Las Vegas, Fix - Bellagio Las Vegas, Yellowtail - Bellagio Las Vegas, Stack - Mirage Las Vegas, Kumi - Mandalay Bay Las Vegas, Yellowtail - West Hollywood, Los Alcobas - Napa Valley, Bianca - Delano Miami Beach, Rosalie - C Baldwin hotel Houston, Caramal - DIFC Dubai, Tekka Bar - The Cosmopolitan, Banger Brewing - Fremont St Las Vegas, Barley's Brewing Co - Henderson NV and Paonia United Brewing - Paonia CO.
The rumor is they hope to open by August.
There's so many breweries right there, it's cool but won't that effect you business how much beer can our city take haha? So weird.
