The Riverwalk Dining District is Reno's premiere corridor of amazing restaurants. These venues of deliciousness are teaming up for the Dine the District Food Tour Saturday, May 3 from 1 to 4 pm.

There are some awesome places to grab a bite to eat in Reno, even compared to larger cities. We have our own Foodie group on Facebook, and some people get excited enough about it to make videos and blog about it. I am not sure on the source of the video below, it just popped up on my Reno RSS feed. The buzz on Facebook is it's a college student project. In any case, it's a cool vid, worth a watch, and promotes downtown and Midtown businesses from a younger perspective.

Reno Cracks Whip on Downtown Properties
Reno is cracking down on vacant properties in the downtown area, and recently promoted code enforcement officer Alex Woodley to revitalization manager. According to this story at News 4, he has already notified 25 properties of 56 code violations. Read the full story here.
