The ads were all created in December of this year. The Lakemill Lodge is listed for sale for $15,000,000 or $123,967 per unit.
The ad shows some very, very poorly done renderings of a refurbished Lakemill Lodge. Sorry, my graphic artist roots had to come out and say something about those photos lol, which were either created using AI or someone with way too much caffeine and excitement for Photoshop's fill tools.
I had heard through the grapevine that the City absolutely does not want the Lakemill Lodge reopening under the same operating procedures as it was previously, and all of these weeklies now for sale are owned by the same entity, so perhaps they decided it was time to make an exit.
Lakemill Lodge's operating license was suspended in late November, so all of these properties were listed AFTER Lakemill was shuttered.
I will say this; when i was walking downtown on Sunday to get video project updates, walking by the shuttered Lakemill Lodge was very....different. I'll leave that up to you to take that comment as a positive or a negative. If you regularly walk by there, you have probably noticed too. Either way, I don't think the Lakemill will be reopening as a weekly motel ever again. That's my prediction.
