In-N-Out Burger to possibly occupy former Redwood Rotisserie spot on Kietzke, Plumb

by Mike Van Houten / Aug 19, 2024

When Redwood Rotisserie closed abruptly, employees were told a hotel was going in its place. That appear to not be the case now, as a Conditional Use Permit has been submitted for an In-N-Out at 880 East Plumb Lane, which is this location. The permit would be presumably for the drive-thru portion of the site.

The permit reads

In-N-Out Burger Conditional Use Permit

Development of a new, single-story In-N-Out Burger restaurant with drive-through service and outdoor patio seating (and associated site improvements to include new parking lot and interior landscaping) at the SWC of Plumb Lane & Kietzke Lane, Reno, NV.

The conditional use permit is required for hours of operation past 11 pm and also for exterior lighting past 11 pm, adjacent to residential housing or neighborhoods.

If you click the 'Record Info' drop down on the permit page, and then click 'Attachments' you can view all of the attachments.

The In-N-Out Burger will be on the 2.51 acre site, the building will be 3,887 sf with indoor seating for 87 guests and outdoor seating for 44 guests. The drive-thru will have dedicatd queuing for 34 cars and on-site parking for 77 cars. The restaurant will operate seven days a week from 10:30 am to 1:00 am Sunday through Thursday and stay open until 1:30 on Friday and Saturday. There is also a proposed coffee house or drive-thru of some kind on the same 2.51 acre site comprising .57 acres.
