A new townhome project slated for the corner of High and Mill Streets downtown is making the rounds. A tentative map has been submitted, it's packed into the development review memos for June, and yesterday was reviewed by the Ward 3 Neighborhood Advisory Board.
Named 'High Street Townhomes', the project replaces the now-dead Mill Street Lofts, which was to be constructed on the same lot.
While Mill Street Lofts was going to utilize the existing commercial building, High Street Townhomes seems to only utilize the vacant closed parking lot next to it.
The project consists of 16 single family attached townhomes with a modern design, designed by Cathexes.
There will be two buildings with eight units each.
Vehicle access will be out of sight in the rear of the buildings.
You can find additional renderings, landscaping plans and elevations in the tentative map, linked here.
