Vacant five-acre lot next to Auto Museum sells for $14 million

by Mike Van Houten / Dec 17, 2021

The 5.5 acre property located next to the National Automobile Museum has sold for $14 million. It previously had sold in 2010 for $2.3 million.

The buyer of the riverfront parcel is 'Grants Landing LLC', and a quick Nev SOS lookup shows Todd Chapman as the manager, who is the president/CEO of JMA Ventures, a venture company with ties to Homewood Ski Resort.

This property was originally going to become a townhome project called Grant's Landing, which you can find info on here

Given the name of the LLC that bought it, who knows, maybe this long-dead project will be revived. But it won't be cheap. Anything built here will be considered prime riverfront property.

Would love to see density housing like condos or twonhouses here, maybe with some commercial or retail spaces on ground level or along the street fronts.
