A permit has been submitted to replace windows (30) for Gibson Apartments on Second Street.

The Gibson Building is an apartment building built in 1917 with lots of historic character, will be renovated by Jacobs Entertainment, and I'm guessing that the window replacement is the first step. Jacobs Entertainment also plans to build a new, matching apartment building to the east of Gibson Apartments as part of a land swap deal with Reno Housing Authority.
Most of the landscaping was also recently removed from Gibson Apartments as well, shown below. Picture courtesy Barber Brief.
