The Wild & Scenic Film Festival on Tour captivates tens of thousands of people across the nation each year and is the largest festival of its kind in the United States. The festival is designed to promote community building as well as explore outdoor and environmental issues through the exciting medium of film.
The evening offers an exciting selection of adventurous, inspirational award-winning films about our natural world. With gorgeous cinematography and remarkable stories, inspiration will be contagious!
This years event features an art show, silent auction, raffle, and no-host bar.
The evening is hosted by the Friends of Black Rock - High Rock, stewards of the Black Rock Desert-High Rock Canyon Emigrant trails National Conservation Area, an area of renowned scenic and recreational opportunities which include the annual Burning Man Festival, rocketry, solitude seekers, OHV enthusiasts, hot spring aficionados, hikers, wildlife watchers and more! Friends also partners with Burning Man to offer guided nature walks at Fly Geyser. Friends of Black Rock - High Rock work hard to keep the NCA healthy and enjoyable for the diverse group of users that visit the area.
