Two new permits have been submitted for work on Reno Revival, the first new permits since the project ended up on a multi-year pause. Encouraging sign!
Reno Revival is the reborn project of Reno City Center, with new developers and new investors, and a new general contractor, after the project recent exited bankruptcy.

The first permit is for work on the parking garage. It reads:
PARKING GARAGE UPDATES. REPAIR CONCRETE FLOOR SLABS, COLUMNS, STAIRS, DOORS, & EXTERIOR FACADE. NEW ELECTRICAL AND LOW-VOLTAGE FOR ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM. NEW PARKING STALLS STRIPED ON LEVEL 1
The second permit is for the old historic bank building on the corner of Virginia and 2nd Street. It reads:
COMMERCIAL REMODEL & ADDITION - REMODEL. ELECTRICAL PLUMBING MECHANICAL RENOVATION OF THE CORE AND SHELL OF THE EXISTING BUILDING FOR FUTURE TENANT BUILD OUT. BUILDING WILL NOT BE OCCUPIED AFTER RENOVATION. FUTURE TENANT WILL BE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT A FULL CODE ANALYSIS BASED ON THEIR FLOOR PLAN LAYOUT UNDER SEPARATE PERMIT. PARTIAL DEMO OF LEVEL 1 AND MEZZANAINE. LEVEL 2 AND 3 DEMO OF EXISTING WALLS, DOORS, FRAMES, FLOORING AND CEILINGS. ALL ROOF MATERIAL GET REPLACED. FIRE SPRINKLERS REMAIN OPERATIONAL.
