UPDATE: The developer previously gave me the renderings for another project of theirs, and not the project in Reno. I updated the amenities and images to reflect the change.
Earlier today I posted about five demolition permits to flatten a very large section (not Park Lane large but still large) off of North Virginia Street where the Subway and University In sit, on the 1600 block of North Virginia.
Well, I got the deets on the project!
It will be called Park Place. And it's big. And it's for students. And it comes with a LOT of amenities.
Amenities are pretty robust and include a two-story fitness center and basketball court on top of a five-story parking garage. The clubhouse includes sports courts, a gym, a pool, and golf simulator. The project itself will be a long five-story building.
There will be 267 units and 762 beds.
The project is being developed by Park7 Group, a New York City-based, vertically integrated developer, general contractor, owner and operator of large-scale student housing assets in college towns across the country. They were founded in 2010 and since their inception, have developed over $500 million in student housing properties.
Check out the rendering below!
They have already submitted demo permits for their land, which includes the University Inn, Subway, and a few other buildings.
