Well, I'll file this under 'there is hope for this project' maybe? PKWY Tavern inside Reno City Center in the upcoming July 19 city council meeting, is applying for alcohol and gaming licenses with the City of Reno. The tavern is part of a larger three-venue contract with Fine Group, which has apparently not backed out of the project yet like Clear Capital did.
Fine Group is responsible for venues in Vegas such as PBR Rockbar at Planet Hollywood, The Rockhouse at The Venetian, PKWY Tavern, and the ameriCAN Bar at the LINQ Hotel & Casino.
Still waiting on info as to where the project is currently at, I don't think it has resumed full speed head yet after CAI Investment's aubrupt departure, of which a conflict of interest was cited after their investment partner decided to add a hotel component.
