Mediterranean Deli Headed to Holcomb Avenue

by Mike Van Houten / Sep 20, 2016

A new Mediterranean deli is being constructed on Holcomb Avenue, next to Midtown Market. It's being built by the same owner as Midtown Market. Located at 1160 Holcomb Avenue, Midtown Market has blossomed from it's original stint as a dollar store to a full-blown Mediterranean market, with five star ratings on Yelp and Google.

It is THE place to go to pick up hard-to-find Mediterranean ingredients. Foods include all types of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern goods including Greek, Turkish, Persian, and Armenian specialty foodsThey offer many brands including:

Nema
Midamar
Sultan
Ziyad
Shan
Ahmed
Joyva
Karoun
Montana
MidEast

The owner, Radi, first wante to build a deli inside Midtown Market, but quickly realized how expensive it would be to modify the market, so he decided to build a brand new deli next to it, from the ground up.

No word on an opening date yet, but I'll be counting the days and announce it here as soon as it does open.
