The Lear Theater, located at 501 Riverside Drive, submitted plans to the city for permanent decorative fencing and landscaping. From the planning documents (click on Record Info tab then Attachments) it appears plans include an irrigation system, planting trees, shrubs, and perennials, ground cover, expanding/repairing the steps leading up to the Lear front entrance, installing/repairing/expanding handrails and installing permanent decorative fencing and gates. You can see some of the plans in my gallery below as well.
No word yet on what the city plans to do with the Lear or when it could reopen to the public.
