American Box Lunch coming to downtown Reno
There was a blurb in the SF Chronicle's Scoop section this morning that American Box Lunch will be opening a restaurant in downtown Reno in August. It's a fancy smancy type take-out place in SF. Anybody have a clue where it's going?

Not Sure if related to Box Lunch, but a month or so ago I received a questionnaire in the mail (I live in Arlington Towers) regarding a new restaurant opening in Arlington Towers. The only space in the building I can think of would be the large ground floor space on the corner of first and Arlington. Great web site, thank you.

I don't know where it is going, but here is a link to the SF location's menu. They only accept cash and are only open 3 hrs per day 5 days per week - apparently with no seating ("You may eat in Fish & Farm next door"???). Menu is only 10 items, but looks interesting. http://www.americanboxlunch.com/menu.pdf

Heard two new rumors this weekend: apparently the folks behind The Grill are the ones looking to open a restaurant in the Arlington Towers space. Also, heard that a "comfort food" restaurant would be opening up in the former La Bussola space across from Arlington Towers on First St.
