The Hop
The Hop has opened in downtown Reno where Cold Stone Creamery was formerly located, next to Divine Lounge and Taco Del Mar on Sierra Street.
The 1950's theme ice cream shoppe serves up ice cream, frozen treats, snacks and my favorite thing of all, Hawai'i shaved ice. YUM. I'll snap some photos as soon as I can, in the mean time hop on downtown and grab a cone of frozen goodness at the Hop.

I dropped in on Saturday...all shakes/malts were only $0.50 as part of their grand opening promo. It was quite good! I hope they manage to stay around longer than Cold Stone.

With a name like "Hop" I thought at first it was a brewery. Oh well. Maybe they should have called it "Sock Hop" or "Bunny Hop" or "Lindy Hop" to make it more clear as a 50's malt shop.
