Really impressive renovations. Good luck to everyone with skin in the game.

Pinon is an awesome spot so far. I like the building, those swanky bathrooms though are going to have an access problem if you ask me. Definitely a design oversight.

Serious question for y'all. How important are the restrooms in rating your impression of a restaurant? I tend to go code minimum on my projects and hope the tenant at least upgrades some of the finishes. But not palaces of pee - the real estate is too costly. Am I off base here?

It certainly doesn't hurt to have a nice bathroom, in the end though it is just a place to do your business and get out. My issue with the restrooms at 777 is it is shared between all those businesses, and you need a key to access them. It's such a large building you would think there were more restrooms. It's just an added hassle to use the restroom, especially at a bar like piñon.

I've been to Pinon three times and each time I've wondered how the bathroom situation will hold up once Pie Face opens up next door. There are a few other spots in town that share a common bathroom among businesses and it's a turnoff that has factored in when deciding where to drink / eat in the past. My favorite part about 777 has been drinking outside at one of the tables, which are going to be a lot more difficult to get a seat at once business picks up. As Pinon's space is currently setup I don't think I'd go back if outside wasn't an option. It's felt a little dim and sterile in there compared to some of the other options in the neighborhood.

Pinon is definitely new favorite bar in town, amazing beer selection. I'm going to love having a Pie Face in midtown now, too...my wallet and gut, not so much. Really cool building design

Like the whole concept. As for the restrooms, they look nice, save for the highway gas station sinks. Why cheap out there?
