The Morris Hotel, located at 400 East Fourth Street, has recently undergone major renovations, but that is only the beginning for this self-proclaimed Burner Hostel.
It's not only a Burner Hostel, to me it's a gem in the heart of downtown that could easily end up on one of those Travel Channel Top 10 Quirkiest Hotels in America shows.
Every room in the Morris is decorated differently, as showcased in this great Sagebrush Article. Some new additions, including a massive stage for the outdoor area behidn the hotel, is shown below.
Future plans already under construction or in the works for the Morris include:
A green house, solar led garden, art fence, covered stage, outdoor theater, art fountain. roof-top garden, covered pergola area, running the hotel on solar, and concrete patio and fire pit.
It's amazing what Jungle Jim Gibson has already accomplished at the Morris, and I can't wait to see how this venue will be used for future events, including Nada Dada.
