Construction update on the massive 1401 Midtown / Tonopah Lofts dual-project.
For those unfamiliar, this is two projects sharing one large lot. On the backside is Tonopah Lofts, a group of four duplexes creating eight residences, developed by S3 Development. See a rendering of the product below.
The second half of the project is 1401 Midtown, which has confirmed tenants already:
Bristlecone Holdings - New Midtown headquarters for this high tech company that has new algorithms for calculating a loan risk, waaay beyond FICO scores. They are finding people with low FICO scores can actually be low-risk loan recipients based on this data, and their firm is really taking off.
Morgan's Lobster Shack - Lobster! This Truckee restaurant and seafood shack has four star ratings across Yelp, Trip Advisor, Google, and Zomato.
SDL Jewelry - This will be the largest independent jewelry store in Reno, at over 5,000 square feet.
