Why I love Reno

All the negative stats about Reno that our local media seems to love to obsess on, can take a hike, because THIS is why I love Reno.

A nice PR piece to accurately portray the best parts of Reno and the surrounding area. However, it is not exactly balanced - anyone seeing this and driving through downtown might think they got their videos mixed up. Until Reno cleans up the downtown core, including the closed casinos, the weekly motels, and the transients/goth kids hanging out and around, the downtown core itself will never have much to brag about. Note that the highly prized Reno Aces ballpark in the video is stiffing the city on property taxes, a couple of high profile shootings in the Freight House, and they (agreeably fantastic) Nevada Museum of Art is hardly on the river front. No mention of California Avenue in this bit, thought that was a serious shame - nicest street downtown.
