Jason Craig Wins Jr. Freestyle Kayak World Championship
09-8-09 - You may have seen him occasionally tearing up the rapids in downtown Reno's whitewater park, and you definitely have seen him at the Whitewater Festival. Local junior freestyle kayaker Jason Craig has clinched the Junior Freestyle Kayak World Championship. His score was so far ahead of anyone else and so high that had he been competing in the men's senior level rather than the junior level, he would have landed second place.
