Nada Dada Hotel Photography

Wow what a night this was! Roaming through the halls of El Cortez at 10:00 p.m., I ran into freaks, geeks, chics, and everything else in between. This was only my second time in the beautiful decorative El Cortez hotel, and again, upon stepping into this living piece of history, I am thrown back to the glory days when the El Cortez was in its prime. Gorgeous light fixtures, velvet red carpeting, and intricate woodwork provide the perfect backdrop for an evening into the bizarre.

There were scores of people roaming the halls, transitioning from one art piece to the next, each room holding a new surprise. 3 floors of art, and then there's the Townhouse across the street, holding some of the seedier more controversial art. Enjoy some of the pictures below...they of course don't do any of the artists true justice. You still have time to make it to the El Cortez Hotel and experience Nada Dada!

I liked the neon art work with the taxi door and the painting you had to stare for awile at...as for the artists who made the other pieces, "Don't quit your day job."

No pictures from the "Room of 1000 Dildos"? You must have missed that at the Town & Country!

Actually Walt, the art installations over at the motor lodge were my favorites! The Pink Rose Room was just creepy! I debated showing the Room of 1000 Dildos or not, I thought it might be a TAD too racy lol. I did however post those photos to my Facebook profile.

Hi, we are opening a Fluorescent Museum in Newberry Florida. We are looking for black light painters for our opening. Fortunately we don't have funds since we are just starting out. But if you'd like to send us a few pieces we would love to display your work. If you offer them for sale we would only ask a 20% commission. Here's link https://www.facebook.com/3DFluorescenArtMuseum peace and love Robert Roberg
