5/15/09 - This is totally cool! Starting around May 22 a new pedicab co. will hit the streets in downtown Reno. A pedicab is a tricycle-based tax cab. Their goal is to support downtown businesses by providing a fun, safe, friendly and environmentally conscious form of transport downtown. For those that have never heard of this concept, I included a picture of a pedicab below.

They're very popular in San Diego. Not sure how well they'll be accepted in Reno. Although they are great for bar-hopping on warm summer nights. I wish them success.

San Diego is a great example, also Orlando. It may work in Reno if they don't over-extend and have too many. Pretty cool idea.

It's like a bike rickshaw, most of the operators work only for tips, I wish them the luck.
