Reno Mass Transit Concepts

04-30-09 - Below is a link to launch a presentation on the City's new concept and eventual plans for South Virginia Street. Lots of interesting goodies including station plans, proposed bus stops along the BRT route, where they are thinking of putting the streetcar and more. It's missing the narration that Mark Lewis usually provides, but you will still get a very good idea of where it's heading.

Although this appears to be a step in the right direction, wouldn't it make more sense to extend the mass transit/light rail into the Damonte Ranch/Double Diamond area with all of the residential and commercial/office development there?

It should go from UNR to Meadowood mall . . . not just to the convention center.
