Reno Regency Apartments ground floor remodel in full swing

04-02-09 - The Reno Regency Apartments, which recently underwent a major remodel including paint job, interior renovations, and landscaping of the property, is continuing their remodel process- tearing heck out of the old casino, knocking down the old windowless walls of the former casino and restaurant spaces and creating all new "retail space" which could also handle restaurants.  There is about about 8,000 sf in total . See sketch below.

    They aren't trying to sell these as condos are they? That won't work in this economy.

    Swwwwweeeeeeeettt!!! They are owned by someone who gets it. That should do a lot to build some connections in that neighborhood.

    I hope the owner of Riverwalk retail looks at this drawing and gets the same idea. That old Comstock casino facade needs TO GO.

    I totally agree with you Reno Steve. Its bben 3 years and the Riverwalk Retail space is stll looking like the enterance to the Bum Hotel. With the current law suit with the developer, I don't see anything happening any time soon. I hoping the the urban market becomes so succesful that it will expand and carryover into the riverwalk retail space or that trader joes move in...

    Looks like they are trying to get the upper hand on the proximity to the ballpark. A restaurant would fit in nice there for people to hit up after each game.

    It is nice to see that they hired a local architect for the renovation.
